2 Assam cops suspended for `illicit affair' with same woman

SILCHAR: Two policemen in Assam's Karimganj district have been suspended for allegedly having illicit relationships with the same married woman. Another policeman, also accused of having an affair with the same woman, is acing suspension.
Superintendent of police (Karimganj) Gaurav Upadhyay on Monday said action was taken against the accused personnel after the husband of the 19-year-old woman lodged a complaint with police. According to the SP, the husband in his complaint has also named his wife as an accused.
