Nagar palika tag for civilian areas of Nasirabad

Jaipur: Raining sops continued on Tuesday in Ajmer Lok Sabha by chief minister Vasundhara Raje. The latest in the series was grant of Nagar Palika status to Nasirabad's civilian areas.
Raje said, "Conversion of the civilian areas of Nasirabad cantonment area into Nagar Palika is being done in tandem with the defence ministry. Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman has granted permission for the same." In first phase, ward numbers 4. 5, 6 and 7 will be accommodated in Nagar Palika. With the decision, residents of Nasirabad area will not have to visit the cantonment area for seeking benefits of the state and Central government schemes. tnn
