Deepika Padukone launches Hema Malini’s biography

Hema Malini's biography Beyond the Dream Girl was launched on Monday by none other than Bollywood's leading lady Deepika Padukone. And going by the pictures, it looks Deepika had a fun time bonding with Bollywood's dream girl Hema who also celebrated her 69th birthday yesterday. Hema Malini's daughters Esha and Ahana Deol were also seen enjoying at the event.

Written by Ram Kamal Mukherjee, Beyond the Dream Girl has already created ripples of excitement with the released excerpts chronicling Hema Malini's personal life. From her relationship with Dharmendra's sons Sunny and Bobby Deol to her relationship with Jeetendra, Hema Malini has bared it all in this biography.

At the event, Deepika Padukone also read out a letter by Pamela Chopra, wife of late filmmaker Yash Chopra, who directed Hema Malini in many hit films like Trishul and Veer Zara. Pamela showering praise on Malini’s beauty and the way she conducted her career wrote, “You are pristine and in your long career, you always showed grace and dignity, something very few actresses have.”
