Esteemed Industry Leaders to be Honored for Contributions to California’s Thriving Life Sciences Sector on Nov. 10

California Life Sciences Association (CLSA), the statewide public policy and business leadership trade association representing California’s life sciences industry, has announced the winners of its 2017 Life Sciences Leadership Award, which honors California’s most innovative and dedicated life sciences leaders for their ongoing commitments and contributions to California’s life sciences communities.

The award will be presented to Jay Flatley, executive chairman and former CEO at Illumina, and John Martin, Ph.D., executive chairman at Gilead Sciences, as part of CLSA’s 2017 Pantheon DiNA™ Awards ceremony on November 10 at the Marriott Marquis in San Francisco.

“Through the Life Sciences Leadership Award, we have the opportunity to recognize those individuals who have dedicated their careers to driving innovation and collaboration in California’s life sciences. Without the leadership and relentless dedication of John Martin and Jay Flatley, California’s life sciences industry would not be the model for the world that it is today,” said Sara Radcliffe, President and CEO, California Life Sciences Association (CLSA). “Please join us at CLSA’s 2017 Pantheon DiNA™ Awards ceremony to honor our 2017 Life Sciences Leadership Award recipients, and all our Pantheon Award winners.”
