India is the great country known as the land of festivals. One of the famous and most celebrated festivals is Diwali. Towns are decorated with lights just like a bride to give it a marvelous festive look. At this day market is full of big rush especially the sweet shops. Everyone gets new clothes, firecrackers, sweets, gifts, candles and toys from the market. People clean and whitewash their houses and decorate with electric lights some days earlier to the festival. Deepavali this year falls on 19th October and the preparations for it have already begun in full swing. Here we bring you how our Bollywood and TV celebrities are planning to celebrate it!
Govind Namdev: I celebrate with much fervor and absolutely love this festival. Like every year, I will be spending time with my family and performing Lakshmi Puja. I will make sure that I take time out from the shoot and go shopping to buy gifts for my family. I am very excited to welcome the festival of lights and will be celebrating a cracker free Diwali. Mohit Madaan: This year, I will be joining my family in Dubai to celebrate the festival of Diwali. I have lots of gifts and surprises planned for my siblings. I believe in celebrating eco-friendly Diwali and like always I will celebrate cracker free Diwali this year as well. I love this festival of lights and I have worked really hard to decorate the house with lots of diyas. I am looking forward to gorge on some sweets and delicacies prepared by my mother on this Diwali. Happy Diwali!!!

Rajesh Tailang: I will be cleaning my house, Diwali is a nice excuse for that. Decorate my house with Diyas and lights. I generally don’t light crackers. So Supreme court’s ban on Crackers in New Delhi doesn’t affect me much.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee: Diwali celebrations are one of the most important days. It brings lots of positive energy. This time on Diwali, I’m going to decorate my house with Indian lights and flowers. Will be using ‘deepaks’ and ‘rangoli’ is a must. Will enjoy puja and yes me and my family are going to have lots of fun.
Shubhangi Atre: For Diwali, I’m gonna get surprises for my family and friends. Happy that will get to spend time with them. Festivals are really important. Yes, less crackers and more loud laughs and fun are better way to celebrate. Sweets and Rangoli will bring more taste and colours to our life.
Amrapali Gupta: Diwali is more fun because of its charm. Everything is clean and shining all around. My son is a bit grown up. So will try to introduce him with baby crackers. Mahika Sharma: For Diwali celebrations, already got many invitations. So I’m stuck with getting some really good outfits for myself and fun is my mother gonna pay for it. Yes also have got few gifts for my special ones. I feel ‘Kaju-katli’ is the one major thing I enjoy much every Diwali.
Manish Goplani: This year for the first time I’m at Indonesia during Diwali. So my family is preparing for the celebrations and I keep taking updates about them. I’ll try my best to visit home and celebrate Diwali with them.
Paras Babbar: Diwali is always fun. I’m shopping for myself and my family, it exciting. Will also be decorating my house and yes will get to eat lots of sweet. That’s for sure I’m gonna cheat my diet. Diwali is most waited festivals.
Puru Chibber: For Diwali celebrations, we are on in decorating our home. Also, we are getting new outfits for every one of us. We usually don’t enjoy crackers as we are having pets at home, so don’t want them to drop their enjoyment level on the festival.
