The Vice-Chairman of the All India Praja Socialist Party, Mr. Triloki Singh, to-day [October 16] started efforts to bring about a rapprochement between the Chief Minister, Mr. Charan Singh, and the leaders of the two political parties — the S.S.P. and the C.P.L., seven Ministers of which yesterday submitted their resignations from the six-month-old United Legislator Party Government. This step was being taken by Mr. Singh following a resolution passed at the joint meeting of the State Executive of the Praja Socialist Party, its parliamentary board and party legislators here [Lucknow] to-day.
