Most active stocks in terms of value on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Reliance Industries (Rs 1283.48 crore), Bharti Airtel (Rs 849.66 crore), Bajaj Finance (Rs 509.45 crore), IndusInd Bank (Rs 496.36 crore) and HDFC (Rs 466.79 crore) stood as the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE on Monday.
Shares of Bharti Airtel, Bharti Infratel, Vedanta and Mahindra & Mahindra stood among the top gainers in the Nifty50 index on Monday.
Bosch, Tata Motors, Hindustan Unilever, Sun Pharma, Cipla, Dr Reddy's Labs, Bajaj Auto and Bharat Petroleum Corporation were the other major stocks that gained on Monday.
On the other hand, Bajaj Finance, IndusInd Bank, Axis Bank, YES Bank, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Maruti Suzuki, HCL Tech, Adani Ports SEZ, Asian Paints, Indian Oil Corp and NTPC remained the top losers among the Nifty stocks.
Benchmark Nifty50 index closed 63 points up at 10231, while the 30-share Sensex settled 201 points up at 32634 on October 16.
In the Nifty50 pack, 34 stocks ended the day in green, while 16 stocks settled the day in red on Monday.
