Remember Saif Ali Khan's tattoo which read "Kareena". Yes, Saif tried his level best to impress Kareena. He went an extra mile and got her name tattooed on his hand. This was when the love affair of Bebo and our Nawab Pataudi came into the limelight. The two actors dated for five years before tying the knot. They became romantically involved on the sets of Tashan.

Their marriage was a nawabi affair which stretched over days. Kareena looked beautiful in heirloom ghararas and jewellery as she tied the knot with Saif. The couple decided to tie the knot with due respect to each other’s religious views. Kareena was not up for any such religious conversion and her decision was backed by Saif.

Do you know Kareena had this one condition before marrying Saif that she will work all her life and he would support her. This is how Kareena, unlike many female actors, did not give up acting. In fact, all through her pregnancy with first baby Taimur too, we saw her all busy with work.

This is Saif's second wedding. He was earlier married to actor Amrita Singh. They have two children together - Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan.

While earlier it was rumoured that the couple would go for a nikah, a simple registered marriage took place at Saif’s residence. They just exchanged vows at the Taj Mahal Hotel.

Though Kareena did not change her religion after her marriage, she willingly added 'Khan' as her last name, and is now known as Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Time and again, we have seen Saif and Kareena standing by each other's side.

The couple is happily enjoying the next phase of their life - parenthood. The two are trying their best to give their son Taimur Ali Khan all their time and at the same time pursuing their careers too.
