Sodakku song teaser: Anirudh Ravichander-Suriya’s song has Jimmikki Kammal fame Sheril!

The makers of Thaana Serndha Kootam, Anirudh Ravichander’s next film with Suriya, have released a teaser of the second song from their album. The number titled “Sodaku” will be released later today, but the teaser features the Jimikki Kammal fame Sheril and Anna. Incidentally, the young music composer is celebrating his 29th birthday today as well.

Sheril and Anna became internet sensations after a video of them dancing to the Malayalam song “Jimmikki Kammal” went viral. The women became overnight stars, thanks to the popularity of the video. An assistant professor by the day, Sheril had mentioned that she would like to act in films if she gets a suitable role. She had also said Suriya’s Varanam Ayiram was one of her favourite films. With the Sodaku song, Sheril has now made her official debut into the world of movies. The first single “Naana Thaana” had already been unveiled to a rave response.

Helmed by Vignesh Shivn, Thaana Serndha Kootam features Keerthy Suresh, Suresh Menon, Thambi Ramaiah, Ramya Krishnan and veteran comedian Senthil. A teaser from the movie will be unveiled in November. The full album and trailer is expected to be launched in December with the movie itself hitting the screens in January 2018. Thaana Serndha Koottam is Suriya’s first venture with director Vignesh Sivn of Naanum Rowdy Thaan fame and will be his 35th movie.
