NEW DELHI: The S&P BSE TECk index was trading 0.82 per cent up at 5,929 around 01:34 pm (IST) in Monday's trade.

Shares of Idea Cellular (up 4.88 per cent), Bharti Airtel (up 3.68 per cent), Tata Communications (up 3.20 per cent), Bharti Infratel (up 2.88 per cent), Sun TV Network (up 2.15 per cent), Cyient (up 1.83 per cent), Dish TV India (up 0.77 per cent), MphasiS (up 0.72 per cent), Tata Consultancy Services (up 0.72 per cent) and Infosys (up 0.61 per cent) were trading up in the index.

On the other hand, Inox Leisure (down 3.70 per cent), PVR (down 1.76 per cent), Oracle Financial Services Software (down 0.77 per cent) and Wipro (down 0.75 per cent) were trading in the red.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 32 points at 10,199, while BSE Sensex was up 83 points at 32515.

Among the 51 stocks in Nifty index, 33 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.

Shares of JP Associates, South Indian Bank, City Union Bank, Reliance Comm, Idea Cellular, Federal Bank, Unitech, Wipro, JSPL, Bombay Dyeing, IDFC, Suzlon Energy were among most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's trade.

Shares of Godrej Agrovet, H K Trade International, Piccadily Agro, Everest Ind, Suven Life Sci, Shree Ganesh Bio-Tech (India), Frontier Spring, Eon Electric, Chandni Text, Phoenix Mills, Porwal Auto Comp and Ramco Ind hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.

On the BSE, 1,241 stocks were advancing whereas 1,337 stocks were lagging and 121 stocks were appearing unchanged.
