Huawei announces Honor MediaPad T3 and T3 10 tablets for Rs 12,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively for the Indian market

Huawei announced the Honor MediaPad T3 and Honor Mediapad T3 10 tablets on 16 October for a price of Rs 12,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively. The tablets will come with pre-installed MS Office and are available for purchase exclusively on Flipkart.

The Honor Mediapad T3 tablet sports an 8-inch IPS display panel with 1200x800 resolution while the Mediapad T3 10 tablet is equipped with a 9.6 inch IPS display panel with the same resolution. T3 10 tablet display will support 50 percent NTSC colour Gamut. Both the tablets are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 (MSM8917) processor along with 2 GB of RAM. The company will offer a variant of the T3 10 tablet with 3 GB RAM at Rs 16,999. Both the devices will pack 16 GB internal storage which can be expanded to 128 GB using a micro-SD card. They will run on Android 7.0 Nougat-based EMUI 5.1 out of the box.

In the camera department, the tabs have come with a 5 MP back camera module with autofocus on the back and a 2 MP camera module on the front. The company has added a 4,800 mAh battery in both the devices along with connectivity options like 4G calling option, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.

"We aim to tap the potential market of consumers who are looking for highly efficient and reliable tablet with a classy and elegant look. The Honor MediaPad T3 and MediaPad T3 10 have been launched to cater to the needs of our target audience," claimed P. Sanjeev, the Vice President for Consumer Business Group of Huawei.
