Commenting on the murders and attacks on BJP-RSS workers in Kerala, former BJP MP Saroj Pandey on Sunday said that if the attackers don’t stop, they will enter their homes and gouge their eyes out.

Pandey, who is currently the national general secretary of BJP, was talking to reporters after a religious congregation in Bhilai in Chhattisgarh.

“Humare rashtriya adhyaksh ne march kee shuruvaat isliye kee hai kee aane vale samay mein agar baar–baar humare karyakarta pe isi prakaar ke aankh dikhaane ki sithi hoge toh hum ghar mein ghus ke aankh nikaal lenge... (Our national president ---Amit Shah --- has launched a march in Kerala because, if such attacks on our workers continue, we will enter their homes and gouge their eyes out,” Pandey said.

Kannur in north Kerala has a history of political violence between the workers of the CPI(M) and BJP-RSS.

The saffron party, under Shah, had taken out a ‘Janaraksha Yatra’, protesting against the attacks on its workers, allegedly by CPI(M) workers, in the southern state.

The CPI(M), on the other hand, has accused the BJP and RSS of resorting to violence, and denied the involvement of its government and leadership in political killings.

Pandey said BJP has about 11 crore workers across the world and the killing of 300 people related to RSS and BJP is undemocratic.

“We believe in democracy and the party ruling in Kerala and West Bengal should respect the democracy and should not be biased on these issues,” she added.

Leader of opposition in Chhattisgarh state assembly, TS Singdeo condemned the statement and called for a criminal case to be filed against her.

Singdeo further said that violence was going on from both sides and the Supreme Court should take suo moto cognisance and proper investigation should be done.
