
Indian Navy recruitment 2017: As many as 43 vacancies have been announced by the Indian Navy under Executive (Logistics and Law Cadres), Information Technology, Education in Short Service Commission (SSC) and Permanent Commission (PC) for July 2018 course. Soon after the announcement was made, several interested candidates have already started applying for their desired positions by visiting the official website – joinindiannavy.gov.in and the last date to apply is October 20, 2017. As per the official notification, the examination for the same would be conducted at the Indian Navy Academy (INA) situated in Ezhimala in Kerala. Applications will be shortlisted on the basis of candidates’ percentage of marks obtained in BE and B.Tech. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be conducted between December 2017 and March 2018. Selection Process
For stage I – candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their Intelligence Test, Picture Perception and Discussion Test
For stage II – candidates will be selected on the basis of Psychological test, Group test and interview.
Application filing
In order to apply for the above mentioned positions in Indian Navy, candidates must scan their passport size recent photograph, signature and other relevant documents. After which one can visit the official website and click on ‘apply online’ link after reading all the instructions carefully. Fill the application with all correct information as mentioned on your educational certificates. It is also advised to take a print out of the application for future reference.
Reservations
Candidates must take a note that no reservations are made in Indian Navy on the basis of gender, religion, caste and creed, either during recruitment or at any point of time during their tenure in service.
Miscellaneous
Only one application can be filed by a candidate. Also, candidates who are eligible for more than one branch or cadre must provide their preference in order of priority in their application forms.
