Major mishap averted at Bambolim

Panaji: A major tragedy was averted at Bambolim on Sunday morning when a car coming from Margao hit two other cars coming from the opposite direction. The driver of the car coming from Margao suffered minor injuries. Traffic moved slowly for about two hours after the accident.
Police said the mishap took place around 10.30am near the military camp at Bambolim. The cars that were hit were on their way towards Margao.
The injured driver was referred to Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. He was released on request.
