Vaibhav’s Meyaadha Maan will also release alongside Mersal and Chennaiyil Oru Naal 2 for Diwali. The makers officially confirmed this on their Twitter page.

Produced by Karthik Subbaraj, the film is directed by newbie Rathna Kumar. According to sources, Meyaadha Maan is based on a short film Madhu, which will showcase the ‘good side of people living in North Chennai’. Priya Bhavani Shankar of Kalyanam Mudhal Kaadhal Varai fame is debuting as a lead actress with this film.

Meyaadha Maan has music by Santhosh Narayanan and Pradeep Kumar. It’s also being said that Sasikumar’s Kodi Veeran is likely to join the Diwali race. However, official confirmation is awaited.
