NOIDA: The Floriculture Society of Noida will organise a nature bazaar on Saturday at the Jalvayu Vihar Community Centre in Sector 21, where green enthusiasts will be able to indulge themselves besides taking away with them tips on how to grow organic vegetables.
With an aim to ensure the well-being of present and future generations, the society has taken it upon itself to empower and motivate residents to plant greens in organic soil—free from manufactured chemicals—which will foster a more holistic, natural ecosystem.
Entry is free at the bazaar, which will be held between between 11am and 6.30pm on Saturday. On offer will be saplings and seeds of winter vegetables, flowers and herbs, besides air purifying and water plants. "We also have participants who will provide ready-made organic soil mixtures and liquid manure," said Deepa Pasricha, a member of the society.
