‘Global presence of Indian handicrafts should increase’

GREATER NOIDA: As the 44th edition of Indian Handicrafts and Gifts Fair (IHGF-Delhi) was inaugurated on Thursday, minister of state for ministry of micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME), Giriraj Singh visited the fair and emphasized the importance of handicraft sector as one of the largest employment provider in country.
"There's a need for co-ordinated effort amongst stakeholders in handicraft sector to increase market share of India in global handicraft exports," said Singh.
