Sketch of Gauri Lankesh murder suspect ready

BENGALURU: The special investigation team probing the murder of journalist Gauri Lankesh will release a sketch of one of the killers on Saturday.

According to SIT sources, “There were three people who came on two bikes to kill Gauri near her residence. Two were on one bike and one rider on another bike acted as recce. We were not able to identify anyone. Everybody were wearing helmets.”

“However, in one of the CCTV footage police have been able to get the eyes of the man who did the recce. Police took the help of three artists and based on the similarities that police found in the images, we have come up with a sketch of one suspect,” sources added.
