Airtel Karbonn A40 vs other budget Smartphones

Following the launch of the JioPhone, Airtel announced the launch of the budget smartphone in collaboration with Karbonn. Well, the Airtel Karbonn A40 smartphone offers a full Android experience at a price point of Rs. 1,399.

The Karbonn A40 was launched in India in July this year at a price of Rs. 3,499 and the same will be available at an effective price of R. 1,399 via Airtel. The customers will have to pay an upfront cost of Rs. 2,899 to get their hands on this smartphone.

Then, they need to pay for the minimum recharge of Rs. 169 per month for three years to get the refund of Rs. 1,500. Eventually, the price will be Rs. 1,399 and the cash refunds will be directed to the Airtel Payments Bank account of the users.

Given that the Airtel Karbonn A40 is the new budget smartphone on block, we have a list of other budget smartphones in the market with 4G connectivity that will experience the competition.
