Flipkart Big Diwali Sale 2017: Ahead of Diwali 2017, Flipkart has announced a limited-period sale to offer up to 90 percent discount on some products. The e-commerce giant will start its ‘Big Diwali Sale’ on October 14, according to the website. The Flipkart sale will come in the run-up to the Diwali festival which falls on October 19. Apart from Flipkart, even Amazon will be back with its Great Indian Festival Sale from October 14. While both the big players fight it out to lure in more customers with attractive offers and discounts, the biggest deals are available in electronic products, especially smartphones. In the 4-day sale till October 17, Flipkart will be offering big discounts on major mobile brands. However, the biggest discount appears to be on the Google Pixel smartphone.
Under the Big Diwali Sale, Flipkart will be offering the Google Pixel (32GB variant) at a price as low as Rs 34,999. The Google mobile was launched with a price tag of Rs 57,000. Similarly, the premium model, Google Pixel XL will be available at Rs 39,999. The Pixel XL mobile was launched in India, priced at Rs 67,000. The tech giant had recently launched the 2nd generation of Pixel smartphones, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL. This essentially means that there is an overall discount of Rs 27,000 on the Pixel XL smartphone. These phones will be announced in India soon. Perhaps, that is why there is such a huge discount available on Google Pixel devices.
According to Flipkart’s website, the e-tailer will provide upto 80 percent discount on electronics, 50-80 percent on fashion products, upto 70 percent discount on TVs and appliances, and some more. In terms of smartphones, there are discounts on many other mobiles as well.
Flipkart Big Diwali offers on mobiles: The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, priced at Rs 12,999 will be available at Rs 10,999. The Moto E4 Plus, originally priced at Rs 9999 will get a Rs 500 cut and Rs 1000 in exchange. Meanwhile, users will be able to buy the Lenovo K8 Plus for Rs 8,999. Even the Samsung On Max has got a Rs 1,000 discount and Rs 300 extra off on exchange.
Interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be available at Rs 29,990. The phone was originally priced at Rs 46,000. You will also be able to avail Rs 5,000 extra off on exchange. Samsung had recently launched the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones.
Also, there are special offers on newly launched phones like Mi Mix 2 ( at Rs 35,999) and Honor 9i (Rs 17,999). Certain phones like Moto X, Moto Turbo, Huawei P9, and Honor 5X will see a 50 percent off on them. Another popular device, LeEco Le Max 2, originally priced at Rs 17,99 will be available at Rs 9,999.
