AFCAT 2017 results: The first batch of SSB is likely to start from October 30

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has declared the results for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2 which was conducted on August 27 and September 17, 2017. Candidates who had appeared for the examination can download the results from the official website of the IAF – careerairforce.nic.in.

The cut off marks for AFCAT 2/ 2017 is 160/ 300 for AFCAT and 60/ 150 for EKT. Candidates can follow the steps written below to check their results:

Step 1: Go to the official IAF website (careerairforce.nic.in).
Step 2: Click on “Results AFCAT 2017” under the ‘What new’ section.
Step 3: Scroll down the PDF to check your results.
Step 4: Download you results and take a print out of the ame for further reference.

As per an official note posted on the website, candidates can access the result till October 19 2017. The first batch of SSB is likely to start from October 30, 2017. ‘The allotment of seats will be on first come first serve basis. Therefore, in order to get AFSB of your choice, you are advised to choose AFSB Centre as soon as possible and latest by 2359 hrs on 19 Oct 17 without fail.’
