Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Pooja Joshi blessed with a baby girl

Pooja Joshi plays Varsha in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

The stork recently came visiting Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Pooja Joshi. The talented artist, who plays Varsha in the daily soap, was blessed with a baby girl on October 11. The actor is married to businessman Manish Arora. Sharing her joy with indianexpress.com, Pooja said, “It’s a feeling of fulfillment for us. We have named our little angel Ridhima.”

Pooja, who is currently in the hospital, shared that both mother and baby are absolutely fine. The actor, who had taken a maternity leave from the show, in her recent interviews had mentioned that she wants to prolong her leaves to spend some time with her baby. This is Pooja and Manish’s first child. The two had met through common friends and after a brief friendship started dating. The couple tied the knot in 2015 in a grand function that was attended by most of her Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai team.

The actor played Akshara’s (Hina Khan) best friend in the long-running show. Both Hina and Pooja found fame with the show and their real-life close bond made them play their roles much better on screen. Though Hina quit the show sometime back, Pooja continued to be associated with the project till recently. Post the leap, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi play the lead in the show.

Hina went on to do Khatron Ke Khiladi where she emerged as a finalist and is currently going strong in Bigg Boss 11.
