Honor has launched a smartphone called Honor 6C back in April. Now the company has unveiled a slightly upgraded version of the device in Russia.
Dubbed as Honor 6C Pro, it is not even listed on the official site for Europe yet. However, Honor France has taken to Twitter to reveal the details of the smartphones. Well, guess what, the specs of the device are almost identical to that of the Honor V9 Play. This means V9 Play will be known as 6C Pro in the markets outside of China. Even design-wise, the phones look the same.
The Honor 6C Pro features a 5.2-inch display that delivers an HD resolution of 720×1,280 pixels. The smartphone appears to have a metal unibody design with curved edges. The top and bottom bezels are thick, whereas the side bezels are really narrow. The phone lacks a physical home button as it comes with on-screen buttons.
On the rear panel, you can see the antenna lines, a single camera lens along with flash, a fingerprint scanner, and the Honor branding.
As for innards, the Honor 6C Pro makes use of an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 chipset that is clubbed with 3GB of RAM. Unlike the V9 Play, it has only one RAM variant. The device offers 32GB of native storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.
Coming to the camera part, Honor 6C Pro is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash support. Up front, there is an 8MP selfie camera.
Keeping the lights on is a decent 3,000mAh battery and the device runs on EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
As of now, there is no information available on the pricing of Honor 6C Pro.
