Rajesh and Nupur Talwar are likely to walk out of Ghaziabad's Dasna jail on Friday a day after acquitted by the Allahabad High Court in the murder case of their daughter, Aarushi, and domestic help, Hemraj.
DR Maurya, jailor, Dasna Jail, said that the Talwar couple's release is likely on Friday after they receive the court judgment through official channels.
Tanveer A Mir, Talwars' lawyer said the release orders will be received by jail superintendent by afternoon and Talwars will be released by 4 pm.
The High Court on Thursday struck down a CBI court order convicting them for the murder of their daughter, Aarushi, and domestic help, Hemraj, in 2013.
The court on Thursday said the Talwars can't be convicted based on mere suspicion and the Talwars should be given the benefit of doubt."
On 26 November 2013, the Talwars were awarded life sentence by a special CBI court in Ghaziabad
