A support actor was rushed to K C General Hospital from Maneka theatre on K G Road as he reportedly vomited blood while watching a horror movie and fainted on Friday.

The incident occurred around 12 noon when Kannada horror flick Gayathri was being screened.

Viji, a support actor in Gayathri, was watching the movie with his friends. He started behaving strangely when a horror scene was shown. He vomited blood and fainted.

Members of the audience rushed him to the hospital. He is recovering. The police have obtained a statement from him, while doctors have advised him rest.

It is not clear if Viji had any pre-existing disease or he vomited after watching horror scenes.
