Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been a great servant of Indian cricket. The Ranchi boy transformed into one of the finest captains of all-time, helping India lift T20 as well as 50-over World Cup along with an ICC Champions Trophy. However, the 36-year-old hasn’t been in great form in last few months, leading to questions over his place in the side. The latest man who wants MS Dhoni to be replaced is former Indian fast-bowler Ajit Agarkar. The man who Agarkar wants Virat Kohli to play in the final T20I against Australia at the Rajiv Gandhi Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad in place of Dhoni is Dinesh Karthik.
Agarkar believes that Dinesh Karthik is in fine form and is hitting the ball very well. While speaking to ESPNcricinfo, India’s third highest ODI wicket-taker said that Karthik has the ability to play big shots from the very first ball and should be picked in the side. However, Agarkar added that he thinks that Virat Kohli will not drop Dhoni. The series is currently level at 1-1 and both the sides would like to win the final game and lift the trophy.

The match will be played under tight security after a rock was thrown at Australia’s team bus after the last game. Around 1,800 police personnel will be deployed at the Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium in Uppal, reported PTI. The security arrangements have been made in coordination with different wings, like security, traffic, law and order, armed component (platoons), OCTOPUS – the elite anti-terrorist force in Telangana, and Special Branch, a top police official said.
“Around 1,800 police personnel are deployed as part of bandobust. 56 CCTV cameras are being installed to cover the entire stadium area. Additional bandobust arrangements are made in and around the stadium round-the-clock,” Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat was quoted saying by PTI. Apart from this, a Joint Command and Control Room is also set up to monitor the CCTV footages for taking immediate action, he said, adding that special parties are deployed separately to meet with any contingency.
