France to face Germany in November friendly

PARIS: France will face Germany in a friendly in Cologne on November 14, the French football federation announced on Wednesday.

The game is a re-run of the Euro 2016 semi-final won by hosts France 2-0, both goals scored by Antoine Griezmann.

Didier Deschamps' France qualified for the 2018 World Cup finals on Tuesday after a 2-1 win over Belarus in their closing qualifier.

World champions Germany secured their passage to Russia with a perfect 10 wins in their qualifying group.
