CBI, which was tasked with investigating the case, had argued for capital punishment for the dentist couple arguing the murder to be in ‘the rarest of rare’ category.     The jailor at Dasna tells News-18 that the Talwars said they felt that justice had been served after the verdict was read out.

    The Talwars will walk out of the Dasna jail soon, nearly four years after being given life terms. However, the CBI is expected to challenge today's acquittal in the Supreme Court.
