GoAir adds new flight from Patna to Chennai via Hyderabad till Oct 28
The GoAir flight will provide Patnaites an alternate option for south India. At present SpiceJet offers a daily connection to Hyderabad and Chennai from Patna.

The GoAir will introduce a new flight, connecting Patna with Chennai, beginning Thursday. The new service will be available till October 28.
The aircraft (G8-761 and G8-762), to operate daily, will connect the two state capitals via Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad.
With the new GoAir flight, Patnaites will have an alternate option to fly to south India, without having to change the aircraft. At present, the SpiceJet operates a Patna-Chennai flight via Hyderabad.

The GoAir plane (G8-761) will leave Chennai at 7.20am and reach Patna at 2.45pm. It will hop at Hyderabad to reach at 8.30am and leave at 9.05am for Bhubaneswar, where it will reach at 10.50am and leave for Kolkata at 11.30am. It will reach Kolkata at 12.55pm and leave at 1.35pm for Patna, where it is scheduled to reach at 2.45pm.
On its return, the aircraft (G8-762) will leave Patna at 3.15pm to reach Kolkata at 4.25pm and leave at 5.20pm for Bhubaneswar, where it will arrive at 6.20pm. It will then leave at 6.50pm for Hyderabad, where it will reach at 8.25pm and leave at 9pm for Chennai, where it will reach at 10.15pm.
Airline sources said the aircraft, with changed timings, was likely to be retained in the winter flight schedule, beginning October 29.
With this, the total number of daily scheduled flights, operating from Patna airport will go up to 37. GoAir will also add one more flight to its existing tally of seven aircraft, which it currently operates from Patna daily. Of these, four are to Delhi, two to Mumbai of which one is via Ranchi, one to Bangalore via Ranchi and one to Chennai via Kolkata, Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad.
