See 25% revenue growth in FY19; entering laminated flooring tiles & doors: Century Ply

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Keshav Bhajanka, ED of Century Plyboards spoke about the latest happenings in the company and his outlook going ahead.

Bhajanka said new medium-density fibreboard (MDF) plant will add Rs 150 crore in FY18 itself.

He further said that EBITDA margin in MDF is seen around 30 percent.

Will see Rs 400 crore revenue from MDF in FY19, said Bhajanka.

According to him, early festive season is a drag as construction slows down.

Talking about business expansion, he said the company is entering into laminated flooring tiles and doors.

Bhajanka mentioned that demand situation hasn’t improved. However, shift from unorganised sector has begun to happen.

Have started gaining market share in the sector, he further mentioned.
