KOLKATA: The England Under-17 side will host Germany, Portugal and Russia in a four-nation tournament in November as part of preparations for next year's UEFA European U-17 Championships on home soil.

St Georges Park will host three of the six matches while Chesterfield, Burton Albion and Rotherham are the other venues.

"We're looking forward to visiting each of the venues and preparing for a major tournament in front of our home crowds," head coach Steve Cooper said here.

The Young Lions have become the first team from group F to secure a knockout berth in the FIFA U-17 World Cup after their 3-2 win over Mexico last evening.

The Cooper-coached side will face Iraq on October 14.

England will host the 17th edition of the UEFA European U-17 meet from May 4-20 next year.
