HYDERABAD: The Hyderabad High Court on Wednesday directed the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) not to proceed with the recruitment process for the posts of sub-inspector of police without taking into consideration the objections raised by the petitioner concerned. Justice A Rajasheker Reddy was passing this order in a petition by M Suresh from Karimnagar district seeking direction to the chairman of TSLPRB to reserve one SI post to him under the NCC-C quota.
The petitioner’s counsel alleged that the board has violated the recruitment procedure in spite of an objection raised on the provision selection list. He sought the court to declare the inaction of the board in considering the petitioner’s objection for recruitment in NCC-C quota. Later, the judge directed board chairman not to go ahead with the said recruitment process without considering the objections of the petitioner.
