Yogi Adityanath to woo Gujarat businessmen for investment in UP

KANPUR: On his two-day visit to Gujarat, beginning October 13, to attend BJP's 'Gaurav Yatra', chief minister Aditya Nath Yogi will be meeting businessmen there in a bid to bring investment and business to UP. State industry minister Satish Mahana, who would be accompanying Yogi, confirmed the CM's plan to meet Gujarati businessmen. To be held in Surat, the meeting will be with businessmen who have shown interest in either investing in or expanding their business to UP.
BJP sources said during the Gaurav Yatra, the chief minister would be covering different Vidhan Sabha consituencies of Gujarat, including Pardi, Gandevi, Jalalpore, Choryasi, Valsad, Navsari, Abdasa, Mandvi and Bhuj. Except for Abdasa, MLAs of all constituencies belong to BJP. Shaktisinh Gohil of Congress is the MLA from Abdasa. Another yatra was led by Narendra Modi in 2002 after the Gujarat riots, when he was CM of the state.
