Man arrested in prohibition case dies

Palanpur: A 46-year-old man arrested by Talod police in a prohibition case died in Himmatnagar Civil Hospital early on Thursday morning.
Sharafat Mansuri and his brother Mohammed Hanif were brought to the Himmatnagar subjail after their two days police remand ended on Wednesday. At around 2:30 am, he complained of chest pain and was rushed to civil hospital where he died during treatment at around 4am, said jailor J V Chavda. The duo was arrested from Tajpur village on Talod taluka. tnn
