Turkish Airlines, the carrier that flies to the most countries in the world is going on expanding its scope of Stopover service. Offered service to its transfer passengers that depart from Pakistan in March for the first time, after adding Portugal in September, will give privilege free hotel booking and discovering Istanbul to the passengers that depart from Pakistan, Russia, Kazakstan, Australia, Belarus, Ukraine, Algeria, South Africa, İran, Nijeria and Portugal

Chief Marketing Officer of Turkish Airlines Mr Ahmet Olmuştur said ‘‘We get excited to expand our Stopover service to another country after positive feedbacks.

We are offering Turkish hospitality and to experince unique beauty of İstanbul.

We were sure that the program would be successful and contribute to our passengers’ satisfacition. The consequence hasn’t already mislead us’’.

Turkish Airlines hosted over 4000 passengers from 11 countries at the end of 6 months by Stopover Service. %62 of the passengers who discovered İstanbul through this service stated that it is the first time flying by Turkish Airlines, %73 of passengers remarked that stopover service is important effect on preferring Turkish Airlines.

The Flag Carrier will continue to expand its scope of Stopover service thanks to the interest of passengers. The service will be offered to many destinations particularly in Asia, Far East, America and Europe in for a short time.

The Stopover passengers that flying with Turkish Airlines and having long connecting time, take an opportunity to accommodate free 1 night at a 4-star hotel for economy class passengers and 2 night at a 5-star hotel for business class passengers in Sultanahmet and Taksim region by accomodation voucher which prepared after completing the check-in.**

By offering the unique beauties of İstanbul, the stopover project aims to contribute tourism of Turkey and to increase transfer passengers of Turkish Airlines.
