Market failed to sustain gains in yesterday's trading session and you saw that most take place in the Nifty Bank as well as the midcap index.

For today the global markets are steady, the Dow is at record highs, the Nikkei is also at multi year highs but it seems as though we are not moving in tandem with the global markets, but what we will be looking out for closely would be the earning season because that kicks off today.
