Director Shankar’s most ambitious project 2.0 will be released on the occasion of Pongal 2018. Interestingly, the film stars Thalaiva Rajinikanth and Khiladi Akshay Kumar. However, the film also has a surprise package. Yes, that surprise package is none other than Amy Jackson. It’s been confirmed that Amy Jackson will be seen playing a role in the film.
On Wednesday, Amy Jackson has shared her character’s first look on her Twitter handle on which she wrote, “I’ve been dying to share this with you from the moment we started shooting! My look in @shankarshanmugh #2point0.”

Well, in the first look, Amy is seen wearing a silver and black ensemble with blue light focused on her. This picture surely sets up the mood for Enthiran 2 or 2.0 in every sense of the term. Moreover, by sporting a bodysuit, which is a patchwork of metal and fabric, Amy strikes a fighter’s pose. The robotic touch to her look gives us reason to watch the film on Pongal 2018.
Meanwhile, 2.0 is a sequel of the 2010 hit film Robot. The story revolved around Dr. Vaseegaran and his creation, a robot called Chitti, and his rival scientist Bohra, played by Danny Denzongpa, and the ensuing clash between the two principal characters. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan played his love interest.
However, in this film, Akshay Kumar will be seen playing antagonist with which he will be making his Tamil debut. Reportedly, Akshay plays an ornithologist called Dr. Richard.
