Reliance Jio's Latest Offer On iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X, JioFi

Reliance Jio has now tied up with iPhone-maker Apple to sell the newly launched iPhone models in India with buyback guarantee. Under this buyback offer, Reliance Jio is promising to buyback the iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X after 1 year at 70 per cent price of the MRP value, if the customer buys these iPhones from Reliance Digital, Jio Store, Jio.com or using the MyJio app. For availing the buyback a customer need to use the iPhone on Jio network for 12 months on minimum 799 plan per month or a one-time yearly recharge of Rs 9,999. Jio is eyeing to capture a bigger pie of the telecom market in India through this iPhone offer.
 

What does the Jio Rs 799 plan for iPhone offer?

The 799 plan is available for both prepaid and postpaid customers, Jio said on its website. The 799 plan offers 3GB 4G data per day for 28 days along with unlimited voice calling (both STD and local) and unlimited SMS. Post the daily FUP limit of 3GB data, speed will drop to 128 kbps, the company said. For postpaid customers, the validity will be based on billing cycle.Under the Jio-iPhone offer, customers will get 3 GB 4G data per day for 28 days at Rs 799.

Jio further said that, if you buy the iPhone8 or iPhone8 plus using your Citi Credit and Citi World Debit Cards, then an additional Rs 8,000 cashback will be given to you.
 

How to enrol for the Jio-iPhone offer

To avail the Jio-iPhone offer, you have to follow the process as given below:

1) Download MyJio app on the eligible iPhone

2) Open MyJio app and click on Jio-iPhone Offer

3) Enter IMEI of eligible iPhone

4) Enter Jio mobile number being used in the iPhone, which you will recharge for consecutive 12 months, or will do a onetime recharge of Rs 9999

5) You will be sent an OTP for authentication

You will get a message on the app stating that the details have been captured and successful enrollment for jio-iPhone buyback offer is done.
 

Jio's Offer On JioFi

Meanwhile, Jio has extended its festive offer on for the sale of its WiFi device JioFi. Customers can buy the device for Rs. 999, Rs. 1,000 less from its original price of Rs. 1,999. The offer, which started on September 20, was supposed to have ended on September 30, but the company has extended it. Using JioFi, one can connect up to 32 devices to enjoy high speed 4G data, Jio said on its website. The JioFi device also allows its users to do voice calling without any cost.
