Vistara CEO Phee Teik Yeoh likely to join SIA

Yeoh is set to leave India this month as his deputation at the Tata-SIA joint venture airline has ended. “He will be joining SIA in the product and customer service department and would not be dealing with Vistara,” this person said, requesting anonymity.
Yeoh was given an extension of three years in April after completing three years with the airline. However, he was called back recently and former SilkAir CEO Leslie Thng was announced as his replacement.
People in the know say there is no need to read too much into Yeoh’s return to SIA because Singapore Airlines typically rotates its staff, offering them positions in various departments internationally every few years.
