NEW DELHI: Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation, Sundaram Fastener, Hindalco Industries and Sterlite Technologies were among the stocks that hit fresh all-time high in Thursday's trade.

On the other hand, nearly 50 stocks, including Birla Corporation, Britannia Industries, Dabur India, Bharti Infratel, Majesco, JSW Energy, Man Industries (India), Nestle India and TVS Motor Company hit their fresh 52-week highs today.

However, Bhagyanagar Properties, JMT Auto, Neueon Towers, Reliance Communications, TV Vision and Vimal Oil & Foods were among those 19 stocks that hit new 52-week lows on NSE.

The equity benchmarks Nifty and Sensex remained in the postive zone, backed by buying in FMCG, metal, pharma, telecom and realty stocks as domestic investors showed buying interest ahead of key industrial output numbers to be released later in the day.

The Nifty50 index was trading 44 points up at 10,029, while the BSE Sensex was 112 points up at 31,946 around 12.45 pm (IST).

Among the gainers in the Nifty50 index, Bharti Infratel surged up to 7 per cent. Hindalco gained over 5 per cent.

Aurobindo Pharma, Sun Pharma, Vedanta and Reliance Industries were the other top gainers.

On the contrary, UltraTech Cement, Tata Motors, Infosys, Asian Paints and State Bank of India were trading as the top losers among the Nifty stocks.
