Despite opening to mixed views, Gautham Karthik’s Hara Hara Mahadevaki, directed by debutant Santhosh P Jayakumar, is seeing a good run at the box office thanks to the theatre strike on new releases that’s working in its favour. Even before the film’s release, it was confirmed that the actor-director duo would join hands once again for Iruttu Arayil Murattu Kuthu.

This adult-horror entertainer, bankrolled by Studio Green, had its launch and poster release recently. Talking to CE, Santhosh, who is currently out of the country scouting locations, says, “The film will mostly be shot in Thailand.

There will be two heroines and both of them have been finalised. We will announce their names officially on Diwali. A single can be expected soon from Balamurali Balu, who also made the music for Hara Hara Mahadevaki.”

Iruttu Arayil Murattu Kuthu will also star comedians Mottai Rajendran and Sathish. Speculation has it that Oviya could be one of the heroines of the film.
