Six officials face action for approving ‘wrong’ maps of housing society

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar Wednesday directed the state chief secretary to take action against Bijender Kumar, Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Yamunanagar, and other five municipality officials for approving wrong maps of Thapar Industrial Workers’ Cooperative Housing Committee in Yamunanagar.

Kumar is a Haryana Civil Service officer. Haryana Urban Local Bodies Minister Kavita Jain said the five officials included former executive engineer of Yamunanagar Municipal Corporation, Ramesh Madhan (now Superintending Engineer, Municipal Corporation, Ambala) and Municipal Secretary Rajender Prasad (now Municipal Secretary, Kharkhoda).
