Three youths arrested for gangrape, murder of employer

HYDERABAD: A 19-year-old man and his two juvenile friends have been arrested for alleged rape and murder of their employer in Malakpet. Police said that the accused raped her one after the other by threatening her at knifepoint and slit her throat to kill her.The trio had come to city for livelihood and were working in a coir making unit. On September 29, the Malakpet police received a complaint from the watchman of an apartment that, one Parveen Begum (38) was found in a pool of blood in supine position. Police, when inspected the spot, found that the woman was sexually assaulted before she was killed.

Probe revealed that three boys, including two juveniles, working for Parveen, went missing suddenly. After interrogating accused Ameer Chan (19) and his two friends, police learnt that the accused trio were seeking sexual pleasure from the woman but she refused them for asking such favours.On September 29, they went to Parveen’s house and raped her before slicing her throat. Ameer is remanded to judicial custody and the juveniles have been produced before the JJ Board by Malakpet police.
