Volano Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., India’s leading participative sports firm hosted two days of an adrenaline-pumping event, the ‘Maruti Suzuki Devils Circuit' in Hyderabad which saw participation from over 6000 individuals. The event took place on two days Saturday & Sunday – 7^th & 8^th October 2017 at Peddamangalam, Moinabad, Hyderabad. Participants came from all over the country and big representations from leading corporate organizations as well as a big contingent from Indian Army.
 
This was the fourth successful edition in Hyderabad and proved to be one of the biggest and for the first time, the event was stretched to two days to ensure the huge turnout of people.   
 
Hyderabad event also witnessed the build up of the Legends Cup, where the most competitive obstacle course runners from across India are competing for the grand prize of Maruti Suzuki Swift. The leaderboard will keep ticking up till the last edition of this season in Delhi NCR in March 2018 where the top athlete in both male/ female category will claim the right on the Maruti Suzuki Swift car. For the Hyderabad edition, the top spot in the female category went to Shweta Devraj. And the male category was won by Sunil Kumar who completed the entire obstacle course in an impressive 26 minutes 17 seconds. In fact, the winner and the first runners-up in the men’s category were both from the Indian army, proving once again that the armed forces training is unparalleled! We were truly honoured to host our brave Jawans.
 
To add glory to the event, the local Member of Parliament, Mr. Vishveshwar Reddy also graced the occasion and handed out the prizes. A fitness enthusiast himself, Mr. Reddy is one of the most popular members of parliament as could be gathered by the enthusiastic response of all present.
 
The glamour and celebrity quotient was completed by the presence of Upasana Kamineni Konidela, the MD of Apollo Life Sciences who not only encouraged participants but also chose to experience the run and the obstacles for herself. Claiming the edition to be her “toughest challenge so far” Upasana also said that she “was now hooked and looks forward to coming back fitter and stronger next year”
 
Hyderabad also hosted this season’s first edition of Maruti Suzuki Devils Circuit Junior which has been specially developed for children from 7 – 10 years & 11- 15 years. The 1.5 Km course had 9 specially designed obstacles to test the grit of teens and expose them to this adventurous concept. As special invitees, the children from the Government High School Chevella, Z.P.High School Gundala, and H.P. High School Peddamangalaram had a great time enjoying and overcoming the challenges.
 
Maruti Suzuki Devils Circuit, one of the most innovative concepts of running introduced by Volano, is designed to encourage sports enthusiasts to stand together for a fit and active India. Its unique model encourages camaraderie between runners as they tackle a running track interspersed with military-style obstacles, including high warped walls, barbed wire and ice.
