"I learnt the art, but being a brand ambassador just happened. I am glad to be part of the sport," says Ganesh, adding, "The Muay Federation was looking for a brand ambassador and when they got to know about my passion towards the art form, they decided to consider me."

His coach Hemanth,  an international fighter, who has participated in 64 matches taught him this art. "My morning begins at 4.30 am and I practise the skills for almsot three hours every day," he says.
This martial art has references in Indian mythology, informs the actor. "It has  has references to Rama, Hanuman and Garuda and that got me attracted to it," he says.

Interestingly, the Muay Academy is arranging an  intercontinental match in India, and the first match will take place in Bengaluru. About 18 to 25 boxers will be participating in the competition.
Ganesh will be get in the ring and demonstrate his skills at the intercontinental event on January 18, 2018. "I want to be a real fighter and demonstrate my skills of Muay Boran, which is the toughest," he says.
The actor is now thinking of showcasing this art on the reel screen sometime in futhre. "I would definitely want to, but let's see how it turns out. As of now, I have documented my workouts and the injuries I went through doing this course. I will also be coming out with a motivational video. I will be more happy to get into the ring with Muay Thai for a film," he signs off.
