The websites will open for online application of WBTET 2017 submission from October 10 to October 29.
WBTET 2017: How to apply
Eligible applicants are requested to follow the procedures given below for successful log-in and submission of online application for West Bengal TET 2017:

Step One: Visit the official portals; www.wbbpe.org /www.wbsed.gov.in
Step Two: Click on "ONLINE APPLICATION FOR TEACHER ELIGIBILITY TEST (TET)-2017 (Primary) FOR CLASSES I-V'
Step Three: Generate Login ID and password after putting inputs in the given fields
Step Four: Use the Login ID and password as directed on the link
Step Five: Details will appear before you one after one
Step Six: The required documents such as Photograph, Signature, ID-Card, Caste Certificate issued by the Govt. of West Bengal etc. are to be uploaded as directed
Step Seven: Get a print-out of the application before final submission
Step Eight: Pay fees as required in the directed mode
Step Nine: Download the Application Form with e-paid stamp
WBTET 2017: Eligibility Conditions
According to West Bengal Board of Primary Education, the applicants must fulfill the following minimum eligibility conditions, prescribed by NCTE from time to time:
Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with at least 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.).
Or
Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed.).
Or
Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary (or its equivalent 10+2) with at least 50% marks and having Diploma in Education (Special Education), recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
Or
Graduation and Two Year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EI.Ed.).
Note : 5% relaxation of Marks in Higher Secondary / Senior Secondary or its equivalent examination 10+2 (i.e. 45%) will be allowed for the SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PH, Exempted Category, Ex-serviceman and DH (Death-in-harness) category candidates.
"Minimum academic qualifications obtained after the date of this notification shall not be accepted,"
said the official notification of West Bengal TET 2017.
A candidate must have a two year D.EI.Ed. Course passed from an institution recognised by the NCTE and affiliated to the examining body notified by the NCTE.
