The family health centres being opened under Aardram Mission would cater to the mental health requirements of the community and offer excellent counselling facilities, said Health Minister K.K. Shylaja.
She was speaking at the inaugural of a seminar on ‘Mental health in workplaces’, organised on the occasion of the World Mental Health Day on Tuesday.
The mental health centres in Thiruvananthapuram, Thrissur and Koshikode would be modernised, she said.
The master plan for these institutions was being readied. Stress at the workplace can affect a person’s productivity as well as health.
