Kangana Ranaut is prepping up hard for her next film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The actor is getting trained in sword fighting and a video of her is breaking the internet. Kangana can be seen moving her hands and wrists quite swiftly as she preps up for the action sequences in the film, which is based on the life of Rani Laxmi Bai. Not just on-screen, she for sure knows how to fight in real life too.

The shoot for the fight sequence would begin post-Diwali. This is for the first time when Kangana would be portraying such an iconic character on screen.

The actor had a good run at the box office with her film Simran. However, the film also dragged her into controversies. She was not only blamed for taking away a writer’s credits but she also became the queen of making headlines for her statements over her alleged relationship with actor Hrithik Roshan. And it seems, since then the fire has not died down.

While Hrithik has finally opened up about the alleged affair and has requested the media to not take sides, Kangana remained aloof from all that he had to say and has not uttered a word so far. This could also be because of her tight shoot schedule but we for sure are waiting for her last words on it.

Beyond all of this, Kangana is gearing up to become a filmmaker too with her next, Teju.

The actor would be playing an 80-year-old grandmother in Teju and will be use prosthetics to undergo a makeover. Teju will be filmed in Kangana’s home state Himachal Pradesh.
