He was to get married, says victim’s father

BENGALURU: The family of the murdered man Noor demanded justice.The deceased’s father Nisar Ahmed said that Noor (24) was employed at a workshop in Shivajinagar, adding that he was not aware of his son’s sheep business. “He left home around 11 pm and did not inform us where he was going. Later, police called me and informed me about the incident. I rushed to RT Nagar police and filed an FIR,” he said. They said that they were looking for a prospective bride for Noor. Ayesha, wife of the injured Saleem Khan said that her husband’s condition is serious.

Accused persons named
Gauribidanur (Rural) Sub-Inspector Avinash told Express that the accused – mostly men in their twenties – had been identified as: Junaid, Mohan, Vikram Kumar,  Jayasuriya, Suhail, Fazal, Mudassir, Syed Noor, Arshid, a II PUC Student, Mohsin Shariefff, Zahid, Faisal, Umar, Abdul Bilal, Javad Sheikh, Afsar Pasha, Hussain Shareef, Shabbad, Mohammed Sait, and Suhail Khan. Among the accused, many have a pre-existing criminal record, he added.
