Chiru and Meghana to be engaged on October 22

It’s wedding bells ringing in Sandalwood again! According to a reliable source, celebrity couple Chiranjeevi Sarja and Meghana Raj have decided to take their hush-hush relationship forward and are planning to get engaged on October 22. Both Chiranjeevi Sarja and Meghana Raj belong to the filmy family. While Chiru is Arjun Sarja’s nephew, Meghana is the only daughter of actors Sunder Raj and Pramila Joshai.

Though they were dating each other for years, they always maintained that they were ‘just good friends’. A little birdie, close to both the actors, tells us that the engagement ceremony will have guests only from the first circle. “It will be a close-knit ceremony and will be attended by close friends and family members,” a source said. The family is yet to finalise the wedding dates.

Chiru and Meghana have worked together in KM Chaitanya’s thriller Aatagara and that’s where their love is said to have blossomed. On the workfront, Meghana has one project in hand, which will go on the floors soon; Chiru has a handful of projects. His upcoming film Samhaara is in the final stages and the actor will be working with Chaitanya for two more projects.
